Intel Graduate Intern Job Description:

• The overall mission of Intel Labs is to drive technology and advancement leadership for Intel corporation.
• Your role also includes coordinating research and development among several business projects and using Intel's strategies and technologies with future industry needs and demands.
• The Emerging Systems Lab (ESL) in the Systems, Software, and Architecture Research (SSA) Group of Intel Labs is handling high-level research to identify innovative designs and technologies and the ability to handling for end-to-end infrastructure for the user.

• Cloud Systems Research (CSR) is doing its research in intelligent infrastructure and systems research, AI/DL, media, data management, and graphic design technologies. 
  Candidates have to work on research focus areas including 
            a) scalable and distributed intelligent visual infrastructure work environment 
            b) Using acceleration and cross-domain optimization technologies for system efficiency and improvement. 
            c) Using AI automation tools for developer productivity and time to deliver on-time project launch. 

Intel Graduate Intern Qualifications/Eligibility Details: 

• A graduate research intern candidate has a strong knowledge of RL, Bayesian and other optimization algorithm knowledge.
• Having a background development of prototypes and handling of proofs of concept for novel applications and future architectures of HW/SW for Intel's data-centric product and technology roadmap.
• The candidate will be ready to work collaboratively with a great team of researchers and developers.
• We are welcoming a current student pursuing a BS/MS/Ph.D. program in CS, CE, EE, CSE, or a related field of education.
• Candidates are required to have a research experience in educational level research and/or a job/internship like any kind of research experience valid.
• Interest in the experience of developing and utilization of prototyping to establish research questions and answers.
• Handling experience on AutoML, Bayesian-like large-scale Optimizations
• The candidate has 2 years of experience working with Python, C/C++, PyTorch, and MATLAB programming language.
• Familiarity with computer architecture concepts is mandatory.
• Preferred Qualifications: 
• Have experience with AI Frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, Caffe, or visual data processing libraries.
• Hands-on experience in optimizing AI algorithms in Deep Learning or mapping on accelerators.
• Experience with algorithms for designing and data handling of visual analytics.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, graph databases, and database development.
• Familiarity with HW performance modeling and domain-specific languages like Halide, MLIR, etc...
• The candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills are important to handle with the team.
