Role: Test Engineer, Wearables 

Job Type: Full Time (40 hrs/weak, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm)

The agreement followed months of negotiations and a public dispute between the government and tech giants over the proposed code.

These include programs to help small businesses use digital tools to grow, support for STEM education in schools and partnerships with local organizations to provide access to technology and skills training.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or any other related technical field, or any equivalent practical experience is required.
• Google Australia is expecting 5 years of experience in software testing and other related leading test engineering teams. 
• The candidate also has experience in building testing frameworks, automation, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The candidate has 3 years of experience in technologies like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi network connectivity.
• Experience in defining, executing, and other testing strategies for consumer electronic devices.
• Experience in automated testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to handle and independently lead a testing and development project.
• Capability to task planning and code reviews, working with testing software, hardware, firmware, and networking engineers based on the project needs. 
  
  

Google Test Engineer Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• The role will be a consumer electronic system software and hardware architecture subject matter expert.
• Have to own and drive wearables testing and performance strategies for better quality.
• Fix a technical goal regarding the project roadmap and interface with counterparts, owners, and peers to drive team and test strategies for business improvement.
• Your role will be to develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing embedded hardware devices based on project requirements.
• The test engineer will conceptualize and drive the implementation of advanced tools for improving pixel wearables product quality.
