India’s Top IT MNC Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the news of the resignation of Rajesh Gopinathan as CEO of Tata Consultancy Services and the TCS welcomed their new CEO K Krithivasan. Previously, he is a successful unit president of TCS BSFI.

“I had made a decision that the day my mind is not fully into the job I will step down. Also added this is not a seat where I think about my future plans and career, this is a seat where I have to think about the future of TCS's growth and progress. The moment the mind thinks about my future, So I decided it was better to have someone else sit on this seat,” Gopinathan said at a press conference in Mumbai.

TCS Ex-CEO Gopinathan holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and a post-graduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Rajesh Gopinathan is the Ex-CEO and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an Indian-based top multinational information technology services and consulting company around the world. Rajesh Gopinathan was appointed as the CEO of TCS in 2017, at the time succeeding Natarajan Chandrasekaran, who became the Chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group.
